Electronic medical records and keeping patient information secure. write a 10-page -12pt, single space- report with 2-page abstract and introduction, 6-pages of technical description and discussion, 2-page conclusion and references. Use 2-3 scholarly journals, use articles and reliable references. Electronic medical records are suppose to be more efficient and improve the quality of patient care. They make the patients medical information more easily available to other physicians but can also be obtained by unauthorized personnel. The problem with electronic medical records is that not all hospitals will be running with the same system or software, making the transfer of patient information difficult. For this case study I will be talking about the importance of medical records and system’s used for keeping them safe. I can look at example’s of other organizations and what information security systems they use. Maybe even check to find out if any one organization has been hacked and what they did to improve their system.
